Poultry

Profitable production,
fewer interventions

Broiler, layer, and breeder performance is decided in the gut and at the feed bin. We help poultry producers hold gut
integrity through coccidiosis and dysbacteriosis pressure, keep feed clean and low in toxins,
and get more energy out of every diet, with less reliance on antibiotics.

Gut Health and Antibiotic Reduction

Hold the gut barrier, cut the antibiotics

In poultry, gut health is the difference between a flock that converts feed and one that carries a subclinical enteric challenge all the way to slaughter. Coccidiosis opens the door. The mucosal damage from Eimeria feeds dysbacteriosis and necrotic enteritis, feed conversion slips, litter gets wet, and antibiotics get pulled in to manage the fallout.
The fix is preventive and works on four fronts: control the pathogen load, keep the epithelium intact, support digestion so less undigested substrate reaches the hindgut, and respond fast when an acute challenge hits. Phytomolecules and essential oils stabilize the microbiota and carry antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity. Targeted support through the coccidiosis cycle protects gut integrity when the bird is most vulnerable. Organic acids in water hold back pathogenic bacteria at the points where they spread.

Products

Ventar D and the Activo line (Activo, Activo Liquid) for microbiota balance and gut function; Pretect D to protect gut integrity through coccidiosis and dysbacteriosis; Acidomix for water and feed hygiene; Axxess XY to lower digesta viscosity and reduce undigested substrate.

Services

Application tool

OPGenius, an on-farm kit that counts Eimeria oocysts per gram (OPG) from fecal samples using the Mini-FLOTAC technique. It tells you how much coccidiosis pressure a flock is actually under, and when, so you supplement on actual evidence. ELSA supports energy release from the diet.

Expert support

Local specialists read your OPG data, house conditions, and program history, then build a supplementation plan matched to the flock and the season.

Toxin Risk
Management

Protect the flock from the toxins in the feed

Poultry are exposed to two toxin sources at once. Mycotoxins ride in on cereals and co-products, often several at a time, where they suppress immunity, damage the gut lining, and drag down performance well below the level where clinical signs appear. Bacterial toxins add a second load that the liver and gut have to handle. Layers and breeders are especially sensitive, since toxin exposure shows up in egg production and shell quality.
Plan the risk based on your raw materials and region, sample feed and animals, prepare the mitigation strategy, and test to confirm it worked. Broad-spectrum binders and toxin-management products reduce the load the bird has to deal with, so the immune system and gut stay clean.

Products

Mastersorb Gold and Mastersorb FM for broad-spectrum mycotoxin and endotoxin mitigation; Solis Plus 2.0 and Solis Max 2.0 for cost-effective mycotoxin support.

Services

Application tool

MasterRisk, an assessment platform that turns your raw material profile and analysis data into a quantified toxin risk and a matched mitigation recommendation.

Expert support

On-site consultancy to run the Plan, Sample, Prep, Test cycle with you and adapt the program to local raw materials and species.

Young Animal Nutrition

Set the chick up in the first days

The first days after hatch decide how the gut develops and how well the chick handles early challenge. At placement the bird’s own immune system is not yet competent, feed intake is low, and the gut is still building the surface area and microbiota it needs. Anything that disrupts this window costs uniformity and carries through the whole cycle.
Early nutrition gives the gut what it needs to develop, and holds back the pathogens that exploit an immature system. Clean water and controlled early feeding keep the microbiota heading in the right direction.

Products

Acidomix for early water hygiene; Ventar and the Activo line to support early gut development.
