Active principle
Shell formation happens overnight, when feed intake is low and the bird draws on medullary bone reserves. Vitamin D3 status governs how efficiently dietary calcium is absorbed and mobilized. In older flocks and at peak production, the constraint is frequently absorption and mobilization rather than the amount of calcium in the diet. A fast-acting water application addresses that constraint directly.

Stimuvital IP is applied in the second half of the laying cycle, when shell quality typically begins to decline, and around peak production in breeders. The standard protocol is intermittent, three days every two weeks, rather than continuous. It complements rather than replaces the calcium and vitamin D specification of the feed.
