How to decide on the right xylanase

Axxess XY, with bacterial origin and functionality from the GH10 family, addresses them all at the best-in-class level.

Ever-challenging feed processing, with high temperature and longer conditioning times, affects availability of optimum activity of xylanase in the gut necessary for reliable and consistent performance. Diverse sourcing of cereals for diets compounds the challenge of xylanase inhibitors.
Axxess XY is intrinsically thermostable (not-coated) even with longer conditioning times (tested across the globe in commercial conditions). Axxess XY is selected to have top-class resistance to xylanase inhibitors present in a variety of cereals. This ensures consistent availability of Axxess XY in the gut, for consistent performance.
Axxess XY, a bacterial GH10 xylanase, has a functional advantage compared to previous generation xylanases, in hydrolyzing soluble as well as insoluble arabinoxylans with equal ease. This helps in dealing with both antinutritional effects of arabinoxylans of viscosity and nutrient entrapment. Considering varying levels of soluble and insoluble arabinoxylans in different feed ingredients, Axxess XY offers a solution that gives consistent improvement irrespective of diet formulation, giving nutritionists a much-needed flexibility for feed cost savings.
Axxess XY, being an endo xylanase of the GH10 family, manages to de-polymerize long chains of arabinoxylans into a good mix of XOS (Xylo-oligosaccharides) and AXOS (Arabino xylo-oligosaccharides), which gives unique in-situ prebiotic benefits by especially helping butyrogenic microflora in the hind gut. This resulted in consistent improvement in litter quality, reduction in dirty eggs and valuable contribution to overall gut health.

The thermostable xylanase that unlocks trapped nutrients

An intrinsically thermostable GH10 xylanase that breaks down dietary fiber in feed ingredients, liberating trapped nutrients and improving overall nutrient utilization. It is not inhibited by cereal xylanase inhibitors, works equally on soluble and insoluble arabinoxylans, and exerts an in situ prebiotic effect that supports microbial balance in the large intestine. Available in two activity concentrations.

Where it fits

Axxess XY is used across broilers, breeders, layers, turkeys and swine diets, added directly to the ingredient mix or through premix, with the inclusion rate set by the activity concentration supplied. It is the enzyme of choice where diets are corn, wheat, sorghum, rice, rye or barley and vegetable protein source, oilseed cakes based. It is enzyme of choice where pelleting conditions are severe, longer conditioning is done or for customers with multiple feed mills, requiring consistent recoveries across different feed-mills.
